Lie back and surrender it's good for the soul,
That voice in your head will be the death of us all,
Lights play out on your walls,
And you're killing time until heaven calls.
And in my head she waits for me,
And in that bed the feeling of fate released,
But my mind is racing with serotonin,
Yeah my mind is racing with serotonin.
Call me your husband I'll call you my wife,
And we can be happy for the rest of our lives,
Creature comforts are comforting you,
And we don't talk because there's nothing new.
And in my head she waits for me,
And in that bed the feeling of fate released,
But my mind is racing with serotonin,
Yeah my mind is racing with serotonin.
God knows I'm the lucky one,
God knows I'm the lucky one,
Cos he gave me a heart and he gave me someone,
God knows I'm the lucky one.
Once again, all songs on this EP could be hit singles for almost any other band! That alone shows the talent and musical creativity Nick has in his head, and he somehow manages to arrange his ideas to form perfect melodies within the beautiful songs! One day there needs to be a 99MMFTS gatefold 2XLP or 3XLP album of the songs Nick chooses, and I would die a happy man! Charlie Mayer
Drenched in a heavy dreampop atmosphere and featuring a relaxed collection of fine melodies, Slowness deliver an airy and uplifting album that will warm your soul. It's a magical sound that suggests many influences, but calmly creates its own unique identity. Michael Reilly
Wozniak generate a powerful noise that attracts with its robust energy. There's plenty of light and shade too, with songs varying from a dreampop sound to something much more chunky and urgent. Impressive. Michael Reilly
Burbling beneath the hazy beauty of the debut solo record from Lush co-founder Emma Anderson is razor-sharp wit and a heart full of rage. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2023
Great four-track EP heavy on feedback and mood – these are powerful songs with energy and momentum, and feature that classic 'wall of sound' guitar style that I enjoy so much and never get tired of. Bring on the next full album! Michael Reilly
